Yes, spring is around the corner and that means it is time to CLEAN HOUSE. Cleaning house is more than just having a clean home, it is also about cleaning your spirit as well.
This year we have had the hormonal weather, in areas where it normally does not get cold has seen either abnormal rainfall or even snow. In the winter months we tend to allow things to clutter and take up space. Muck and dust also tends to settle in the home, during these hibernation months. All of these energies directly reflects the energy we carry.
What do I mean by this? In simple terms, when you feel 'ucky' you don't really want to do anything. And when you feel fabulous, you feel like you can conquer the world with positive energy. Now, look around you? What is your enivorment look like during these feelings?
Is your enviorment weighing you down? or is your enviorment lifting you up?
The place we live in, directly reflects the energy we carry. It also will absorb our energy as well. So even after we have found ourselves in a better place, it will not take long for our surroundings to weigh us down, unless we clean house.
A popular tread of late as been death cleansing. I am not stating for you to go to this extreme, however, it is a good practice to get rid of things, that doesn't serve you or others a purpose any more. Spring is a time for renewal and a good time for you to do this. Just remember, either sell your items or give them to charity.
Clearing out the mess is a priority, so even if you are not doing the death cleanse, remove the clutter. Clutter brings in messy energies. This helps remove the persistent stagnant and dull energy. Clean, I mean actually clean with a mop, broom and rag your house. Remove the dust. That dust is just once again a reminder of stagnant energy collecting. Do your laundry! Change your bed! If you can afford to do so, go treat yourself to that new bedspread you have been wishing for all winter long. You will be surprised on just that little act is so freeing and renews your spirit. Not only is your bedroom clean but it has been renewed with that simple act.
I like to place sea salt in the corners of room, also crystals and candles. Salt absorbs negative energy and the crystals depending upon what I feel the room needs have their own spiritual quality. I also place diffusers in the room, for that extra freshness, making my own blends to suit the needs of the home.
I smudge my home always after cleansing my home. I either use sage or palo santo. For daily house keeping, I will light an incense, allowing the smoke to clear out the energies.
I also keep an inspirational chalkboard, where I change out to inspirational quotes and invite others to write on it as well. This is a positive vibration energy you are setting intention within your home. Thought energies are very powerful. These are some of things you can do to heal your home thus heal yourself.
Well, we finally have landed. The hubby and I finally got settled into a house. That was a journey within itself. We have managed to shove our Texas 2500 square foot home, into our Washington State 1300 square foot home. The process of reduction has been pretty interesting, but you realize what is important and what is not. Before we left, we left A LOT of stuff behind, from washer and dryer, beds, tools, lawn mower, shelving and plus much more.
We are not completely unpacked, however the meditation space is now ready. So now can offer services here locally. The office, our bedroom and some of outside is still in the process of settlement.
So here is a little tour of the working space here at Hamsa Sandra. This is the space, where local if you like to go. I am willing to offer outside, seaside and mountain side services as well in the future. Of course transport fee will be added for any mountain side and beach side out of 50 mile radius.
I want to start a Sunday Morning or Evening Open Meditation seaside group as well, once the weather gets a little better. I will be posting dates on that. I will pick a location and invite people to come. If you are local, I hope to see you there. This is just a couple locations I am thinking about.
The series of the Science of Happiness will also continue soon. I was busy with getting the house settled that I have not even looked at course work the past month.
I want to thank everyone for the support during this transition, as a thank you, please keep an eye out on my FB page as I will be posting weekly one card readings.
I am also back to doing spiritual artwork as well, currently working on some dreamcatchers. They should be in the online store by end of month. I am very happy to start being back on track. Mahalo and love and light to all!
I love cleaning house. It make me feel pride in home health and clears away the negative energy. For me cleaning house is removing the old and to bring in the new. Kinda like a daily hoodoo.
Maybe its the gypsy in me, but clean floors are my OCD. when I clean the floor I wipe the slate clean in my home. All the flow of traffic- the dirtier the floor the more physical stress happens in my psych. I can't think clear and my mind is full of traffic. Once the floor is clean, the traffic clears and my mind is more free.
Cleaning is such a simple act, that we have considered a chore. It's such a powerful act as well. Throughout history, cleaning as been a act so simple hoodoo. It is found among vast religious beliefs, from foot washing, baptism, ritual purification, ghusl ( is the washing of the whole body in pure water, after declaring the intention to do so in islam), mikveh (a ritual bath designed for the Jewish rite of purification), padyab-kusti is performed, which involves washing and saying special prayers in Zoroastrianism. It all comes down to the act of cleaning in order to conjure one's desire.
Everyone has that one thing that they need to clean, to clear the mind. Daily stressors, negative influences, etc in their lives. I am a firm believer if you clear your outside space it helps in the process of your inside space. Kinda like a little boost.
